Popular Taiwanese actress Gwei Lun-mei (桂纶镁) is set to headline Beautiful Accident (美好的意外), a comedy that’s set to premiere May 27, 2017 in mainland China.
Gwei plays a high-powered lawyer who, after a car accident, gets temporarily swapped into the life of a housewife and must reconcile her hard-driving personality with the rigors of domesticity and motherhood. Wang Jingchun (who starred with Gwei in Black Coal, Thin Ice), Ouyang Nana (Beijing Love Story), and Chen Kun (Chongqing Hot Pot) star as other characters in Beautiful Accident.
